Donating furniture

We're always looking for donations of furniture for our Rainham furniture shop, and our Shopping Outlet at Maidstone. As well as helping someone furnish their home, you can also feel happy knowing that once your item is sold in our furniture shops, it will help to fund care for children with serious or terminal conditions in your local community.

Free collection

Where possible, we offer a free collection service (subject to driver availability and location), so you can pass on furniture hassle free. To see if we can collect your donation, please email us at  You can also contact the Rainham Furniture shop or the Maidstone Shopping Outlet directly.

Please note, our van crews are unable to collect from a household where a member is suffering from COVID-19 symptoms, self-isolating or has tested positive within the last 10 days. Our team will check for this when they discuss your collection.

Gift Aid

If you are a UK Tax Payer, Demelza can claim Gift Aid on the proceeds from the sale of your donated items, helping us generate additional income at no extra cost to you This means that for every £1 we raise from the item sold, we get an extra 25p. You can register with your store, or access the online Gift Aid form.

Once you're registered, you can print off our Gift Aid labels and attach them to the goods you're donating!
