Partnering with Demelza is an excellent way to unite and inspire your staff, whilst helping us to continue providing expert care and support.
Incorporating support for Demelza into your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives offers numerous benefits for your organisation and fosters a strong partnership.
We deeply appreciate all our supporters, whose contributions enable us to provide extraordinary care for children and young people with serious or life-limiting conditions.
Benefits of partnering with Demelza
We believe in supporting each other, ensuring your business benefits as much as Demelza.
- We know that no organisation is alike, and so your experienced Demelza account manager will work with you to create a bespoke plan for your CSR/ESG and staff engagement.
- We help to raise your profile and provide media coverage of your activities through the local press, social media, and our website and publications.
- We’re full of great ideas to help you fundraise for Demelza – and have fun doing so! If you need inspiration, we’re here.
- You can see the difference you make to Demelza by meeting our families and visiting our sites.
- Staff can volunteer, building their own skills and supporting people who need them the most.
- All topped off with a thank you at our annual Demelza Supporter Awards.
How you can get involved through fundraising
Many of our partners choose to fundraise for Demelza through attending our events, hosting their own or even tackling extreme challenges like a marathon or skydive!
Whatever you decide, we are here to support you and promise that the money you raise is spent providing extraordinary care and support for children with serious or life-limiting conditions and their loved ones.
How you can give your time to make a difference
Many businesses give their staff days or time off for volunteering where they can help a cause and develop skills.
Our corporate partners can choose to make a difference by working with us at our charity shops, events or sites in Kent, South East London and East Sussex - whether it’s a one-off volunteering day or a longer-term commitment, we would love you to spend time with us.
How you can be sustainable through donating goods
Every year our charity shops raise £2.8 million that helps us provide our vital services. Offices often have items that are surplus to requirements, that can be donated to Demelza to sell and raise vital funds. This might include computing equipment, office furniture, stationery, or staff may donate work clothes. In doing so, you will be helping Demelza and our communities to be more sustainable by reducing CO2 emissions and preventing items from going to landfill.
How to show your support through payroll giving
Payroll Giving is a way of giving money to charity without paying tax on it. It’s a really simple way of donating to Demelza, as it simply comes out of your PAYE every month. Payroll giving is easy to set up, and helps Demelza get regular income in a way that is also tax efficient for you and your colleagues.
How to get your business involved through pro bono work
Businesses and organisations have expertise and experience that Demelza would benefit from. This might include marketing, auditing, project management or another area of excellence that your business can provide. We can work with you as partners to identify opportunities that both benefit our children and young people, and offer personal and professional development opportunities to staff.
