Important information about our Skydiving challenge
At GoSkydive the maximum weight for a tandem student is 18 stone (114kg) fully clothed with weight being in proportion to height. If you are between 15 (95kg) and 18 stone, please contact us in advance to check your suitability to jump.
The principal medical restrictions for all jumps are diabetes, epilepsy, fits, recurrent blackouts, heart or lung disease, mental illness and some cases of asthma but if you are in any doubt please contact us for further information. All jumpers are required to sign a medical form before their jump declaring their fitness to take part.

All participants will receive:
- Dedicated support from the Events Team to help with all of your fundraising queries
- A Demelza t-shirt to wear during your jump
- An opportunity to visit either the Kent or Southeast London hospice to see where your fundraising goes.
At GoSkydive the maximum weight for a tandem student is 18 stone (114kg) fully clothed with weight being in proportion to height. If you are between 15 (95kg) and 18 stone, please contact us in advance to check your suitability to jump.
You must be able to walk to the aircraft, climb a ladder into it and lift your legs straight out in front of you when suspended in a harness.
Everyone will be asked to sign BS form 115A Tandem Student Parachutist Medical Information and Declaration before the jump.
When you pay your registration fee, please let us know your preferred date, and we will contact Headcorn Aerodrome to confirm their availability.
If you would like to check a date before booking, please contact our events team.
Please note skydives can only take place in the following suitable weather conditions:
- The wind must be less than 20kts (24mph)
- Cloud must not restrict our view of the landing area from the aircraft
- Visibility must be at least 5km
If the weather does not allow the jump to take place on your booked day, the events team will arrange with you when a next available date is.
