Our Walderslade superstore, which can be found at 3-4 Thetford House, was opened by Isabella and her family on Friday 15 July. Isabella who is eight, has been accessing services offered by Demelza, including care at home and short breaks, for six years now and was delighted to open our latest shop.

Mum Nicola said: “Demelza have supported us since Isabella was only two years old, and we were so happy to be invited to cut the ribbon of their new Walderslade shop - it's amazing how many people showed up! It's right in the heart of our little community, and the money Demelza raise with each purchase will make such a difference to families like ours."

As the cost of living continues to climb, what better time than now to treat yourself to a pre-loved bargain that helps raise awareness and funds for your local children’s hospice? And the new shop is a haven of stylish finds, stocking a range of quality pre-loved goods, collectables and high-end clothing for men, women and children.

Ashley Henson, Demelza’s Director of Retail and Lottery said: “Opening a new shop is something we are passionate about; it can be hard work and I’d like to thank everyone who helped the development team and I deliver on this project. The Walderslade shop will help generate vital funding for Demelza, supported by the local shoppers and the community. It really is a community village location and we are grateful for the amazing support already shown.”
