The beautiful thing about Gift Aid is really simple: if you’re a UK taxpayer, we can claim money back from the tax man at no cost to you.

We’ve put together a handy little video that shows how you can help us:

A common misconception is people thinking that gift aid will affect their tax, or result in extra tax, but this is not the case it is a tax relief.

How does Gift Aid work in Retail?

When you allow us to claim Gift Aid on your donations the following happens:

 - Drop your donations of into one of our shops with the completed Gift Aid form

 - We will then put them on sale in the shop

Here is the cool bit of Gift Aid:

 - If your item sells for £5.00 we are able to claim £1.25 in Gift Aid

 - If you collectively donate 11 items that are sold for £50.00 we are able to claim £12.50.

We’re sure that you agree it all adds up!
