Demelza work patterns

With the nature of round-the-clock care, we ensure that you are provided with flexible shift patterns. You can work in a team that is understanding and has a good level of communication. Work is varied and allows you to work on site as well as out in the community.

On average shifts are 12 hours long, with a range of contracted hours including full time, part time and flexibank. Some night duty is required but our standard rota ensures there is a greater balance of day to night shifts. These are planned in advance, so nursing and care teams know what is coming up.

We will be able to offer you additional paid enhancements for any unsocial hours that you will undertake.

“It’s given me opportunities to develop skills that I’ve never had before.”

“Demelza is so different to working in other healthcare settings – you’re providing acute medical care, but you’re also providing holistic support and a stable environment for these families to enjoy.
