Fall on Me

“Having a child with a life-threatening condition and being in lockdown was tough; Demelza were always there throughout for families to fall back on and I’m forever grateful for their support.” - Demelza parent Sam, mum to Lucy.

Demelza’s Fall on Me choir – starring children, families, staff and volunteers - was formed during lockdown and has brought joy, happiness and hope through months of isolation, loneliness and fear.

Recording Fall on Me – a song originally performed by father and son duo Andrea and Matteo Bocelli – has helped Sam and other choir members to make memories they will treasure forever.

By donating to Demelza’s #FestiveWishes appeal, we can create more magical moments for children and their families this Christmas and ensure they receive the care and support they need in 2022.

Please make a special Christmas donation to Demelza, today, to help pay for the expert care that these children will need over the holidays and beyond.

£49 could pay for a full hour of dedicated nursing care for a child at Demelza over the holiday

£21 will help fund a Family Support team session, helping parents get through to Christmas

£32 will help us buy a toy appropriate for a child to be delivered to their home by a special Demelza Elf

“The reason I am sharing my story with you is so you can hopefully understand how utterly life-changing Demelza’s care really is – the care you make possible when you support them.”
– Zoe, Darcey’s mummy

With your help, we can make sure children with serious or terminal conditions get the expert medical care they need – and the Christmas fun and joy they deserve. By giving the gift of care, you can make festive wishes come true – and create treasured family memories that will last forever.

There are over 600 children with serious or terminal conditions in our community, all relying on Demelza’s unique care and support. We will give every child we see the very best care we can over the holidays – but this is only possible with the support of our community. As well as providing the expert nursing care children and families will need over the holidays, we also want to provide a special Christmas gift delivered by one of our Demelza Elves, a personalised video message and letter from Santa, and a visit to Santa’s grotto at Demelza’s hospice in Kent.
