Demelza competes in Corporate Cup hosted by Bromley FC

Demelza's team for the Bromley FC Corporate Cup

Demelza was delighted to be part of the recent Corporate Cup competition held at newly promoted Bromley FC’s ground.

Teams from companies around the south east were invited to play in a seven aside tournament to win a trophy or shield at the Copperjax Community Stadium on Hayes Lane in Bromley.

Competition was fierce but Team Demelza, which included players from NatWest, MSIG, Mitie and the Berkeley Group, fought their way through to the final of the shield competition, only to be cruelly defeated on penalties by corporate partner, Judge and Priestley.

Let’s hope that’s not an omen for the upcoming World Cup!

Demelza’s Fundraising Manager, Katie Fielder, said: “A huge thanks goes out to Bromley FC for inviting Demelza along and our talented team who played their hearts out despite the heat on the day.

"We couldn’t do what we do without the support from companies in the local community. There were definitely some sore legs out there by the end of the day!"
