What to expect

  • Family events – events for the whole family group to come together, meet other families, have fun and make memories.

  • Sibling activities – activities for siblings aged between five and 17 to develop peer networks, increase confidence and have fun.

  • Parent/carer wellbeing – a variety of events and activities to bring parents and carers together for dedicated time just for them, to relax, recharge or get creative.

  • Engagement opportunities – opportunities for different members of the family to engage with Demelza, helping us improve our services so we can best support you.

Memory day 2026

Our summer remembrance event.

Our memory day is a calm space created especially for bereaved families to come together, reflect and honour the children we remember. Families will have the chance to take part in meaningful craft-making as a keepsake from the day.

Join us for a peaceful event where you can:

  • enjoy light garden games.

  • create your own aromatherapy blend.

  • take part in a calming breathing circle.

  • make meaningful memory crafts.

  • pause for reflection and light a candle in remembrance.

Families are welcome to share photos or write a short dedication for their child, which will be shared during the event as part of our collective remembrance.

We hope this day offers comfort, connection and a moment of peace.
