Goodman Tree
Our Goodman Tree offers the chance to celebrate a life, mark a special occasion or recognise an achievement.
Looking for a meaningful way to celebrate a special occasion or to create a lasting tribute?
The Goodman Tree is a prominent memorial located in Demelza’s peaceful Tranquillity Garden. It is a unique way to remember your loved one, with copper leaves that can be engraved with a personal message.
You are welcome to visit your leaf on the tree at any time, and if you wish, attach the leaf to the tree yourself. The tree is lovingly maintained year-round, with special occasions such as Christmas, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day commemorated with seasonal flowers.
By paying tribute to your loved one in this way, you can continue their legacy while making a difference to your local children’s charity, as the cost of each leaf goes directly towards supporting Demelza’s work.
The Goodman Tree is named in honour of the late Len Goodman, beloved Vice President of Demelza.
“We purchased a leaf for the Goodman Tree in memory of my aunt, who was a lovely lady who loved children and thought Demelza was a great charity which really helped and supported children with life-limiting conditions and their loved ones. When she sadly passed away, we thought it would be fitting to purchase a leaf in her name that would live on at Demelza.”
