Hundreds of people enjoy spring trail and crafts

Easter Trail and Craft Fair

Hundreds of visitors enjoyed a spring trail and craft fair at Demelza over the weekend.

Around 800 people came along to the events, which were held at the charity’s site in Rook Lane, Bobbing, on Saturday and Sunday.

Participants enjoyed a walk through the beautifully decorated hospice gardens, taking part in a trail to find hidden animals and letters to unscramble a mystery phrase.

There was a bunny burrow dash obstacle course, mini golf and hook-a-duck as well as plenty of stalls and crafts and even a visit from the Easter Bunny.

Altogether the events raised more than £9,000 for Demelza.

Demelza’s Senior Events Manager, Anna Watson, said: “We’d like to thank everyone who came along to our events at the weekend and all our supporters and stall holders.

“There was a lovely atmosphere and it was so nice to see everyone out and about enjoying the gardens and the activities on offer.

“Events like this are so important for us to raise funds to allow us to continue providing expert clinical care, emotional support and practical help to children with serious or life-limiting conditions, and their families, in your local community.”

"We’d like to thank everyone who came along to our events at the weekend and all our supporters and stall holders."
