East Sussex community donate Christmas gifts

Two people stand by a red car with a 'BLACK WIDOW Bikers Association SUSSEX CHAPTER' banner. One is dressed as Santa; the other holds a card. Gift bags are on the left.

Businesses and the local community in East Sussex supported Demelza with gifts in the run up to Christmas.

Bikers from the Black Widow Bikers Association had spent a day wrapping more than 400 presents which had been donated by local residents for the group’s annual toy run.

Santa joined around 20 of the group’s members to deliver the gifts to children all over East Sussex on behalf of the group, including to our hub in St Leonard’s on Sea.

The team in East Sussex was also delighted to receive some amazing sensory toys and art supplies from Quality Workwear Services and other donations for children and families from the ABC Fund, Surviving Christmas, Dom’s Food Mission, More Radio and Ashdown Phillips and Partners.

Community Team Lead in East Sussex, Donna Mole, said: “We are so grateful to everyone who has supported us with gifts for the children and families we support.

“Your donations mean so much and help us to create magical moments this Christmas."
