Gifts from charitable trusts and foundations make a huge difference to the children and families we work with, helping us provide the care, support, advice and facilities they need and we are so grateful to everyone who chooses to donate to us.
By supporting us, you are funding our expert nursing care and holistic services, such as family support and creative therapies, as well as helping us buy specialist equipment, run projects, and provide essential facilities for children with serious or life-limiting conditions.
Hospice Aid UK
A unique charity dedicated to providing grants and emergency funding to hospices all over the UK, Hospice Aid UK has helped Demelza by funding equipment in many different areas, from iPads for the children to vacuum cleaners to help keep our sites spotless.
Hospice Aid UK has been supporting UK Hospices for nearly 25 years delivering grants and Emergency Funding to UK hospices.
"We are committed to supporting all hospices who contact us with every penny spent staying in the UK. Apart from our grant funding, we also have an emergency funding programme which is essential to hospices when equipment breaks down and supplies are urgently needed. We have been supporting Demelza and the wonderful work they do for children and their families for many years and will continue to do so when they need our help in the future. One of our more recent funders, The Alburys Charitable Foundation has supported a number of areas of Demelza’s work, including practical support volunteering, in-reach in local hospitals and music therapy.
