Philanthropy
We couldn’t provide our extraordinary care to extraordinary children without generous donations from our supporters.

The difference you make
Gifts of any size are always gratefully received at Demelza – and every penny is made to work hard. Whether you’re giving in memory, leaving a gift in your will, or donating through a corporate partnership or a trust, we define donations of £5,000 or more as ‘major gifts’ or ‘philanthropy’.
Your gift is more important than ever in ensuring we can support children with serious or life-limiting conditions, and their families.
“Major gifts are more than money – they often mean a great deal to the giver, as well as the families we support. We’re here to help you support us in a way that not only works for you, but that means the most to you too. Just like our care, our relationships with our philanthropists are totally bespoke.”
The impact of your gift
When people donate to Demelza, they often share with us what the act of giving means to them personally.
Sometimes there is joy in giving, sometimes it is part of a healing process or just the satisfaction of being able to make a difference to another family.
Special events
Every year we host a variety of special events to bring our supporters together to raise funds and share the difference their generous donations are making to families supported by Demelza.
From exclusive golf days to private dinners at the Tower of London, our special events are more than fundraisers – they’re unforgettable.
Different ways to give
Whether your gift to Demelza is individual or through an organisation, our team is on hand to help you maximise its impact and provide updates on the difference you’re making.
Whether it’s a one-off donation, monthly or annual support, your gift can help us plan how many more families we can help in the future.
"I initially became aware of the extraordinary services provided by Demelza through the company I work for. I’ve attended some wonderful fundraising events and had the opportunity to meet some of the incredibly dedicated care team and the parents of some of the children cared for by Demelza. It’s impossible not to be inspired and a privilege to continue to contribute personally."
