Paul Hewish

Paul spent most of his career in financial services, including working at the Prudential, Lloyds Private Bank and Schroders Personal Wealth and as a business co-owner of the Calder Group.

Paul has experience in devising, implementing and delivering local business plans, including revenue income and cost budgets. He has qualified as a chartered financial planner and is an associate of the Personal Finance Society.

Paul has been involved with Demelza for over 25 years and, during that time, has been a volunteer involved mainly in collecting cheques from organisations that had successfully raised funds.

Following that, his team at Lloyds Banking Group regularly used their “Day to Make a Difference” to distribute collection boxes, carry out garden maintenance and paint for Demelza.

More recently, Paul was a charity ambassador for Schroders Personal Wealth, which supported Demelza’s Grate Descent in 2021 as a main sponsor.

Paul is married with two children and, being a FA qualified coach and chairman of a local football club, will be found most weekends on a touchline somewhere in Kent.
