“My top tip would be at the start of the week write down your training routine. Day, time, type of exercise and tick them off as you go along. You need to create accountability! Then when you finish you can treat yourself to something!”

“Be disciplined with your training routine. On a day when you really don’t feel like it, that’s when you push yourself to do it. You will feel great afterwards!”

“Always start as if you’re half way through - with conservation of energy. Starting fast out of the blocks won’t help you when you’re coming to the final miles/minutes – it’s the Tortoise and the Hare - except it’s not a race. So, DO stop and smell the roses, DO enjoy a drink (whatever will help you on your way!?) and DO talk to everyone around you as you walk, because you’re all doing a fantastic thing for an AMAZING cause and this alone, will drive you to the finish.”
