With the help of our supporters, this December, Demelza hopes to deliver #FestiveWishes to the children and families we support.

We wanted to take some time to tell you about the simple ways you can get involved with fundraising in your community this Christmas.

Did you know, there are over 600 children with serious or terminal conditions in our community, all relying on Demelza’s unique care and support?

With your help and the money you raise, we can make sure every children gets to receive the expert medical care they need – and the Christmas fun and joy they deserve. By giving the gift of care, you can make festive wishes come true – and create treasured family memories that will last forever.

Help us to wave a magic wand over children with serious or terminal conditions this Christmas.

Share the spirit of Christmas

Send an electronic Christmas card to friends, family and colleagues for a small donation to Demelza. We have two charming, animated designs for you to choose from.

For every paper card not sent you will be saving 140g of Carbon*. We want you to help us send 4,071 Demelza e-cards this Christmas - the carbon we save doing this could offset the carbon we use to feed those at our hospices for a full week!

On average, the cost of sending a Christmas card second class is £2.34. By donating just a £1 for each card you send you could help us to continue supporting young people to get the most from life, achieving new ambitions and trying new things.

Go big at your home

Spread the festive cheer by going BIG with your Christmas lights – you can invite friends, family and neighbours along to your very own 'Christmas lights switch on’. Simply set up a JustGiving page and… ready, steady, decorate!

Any amount you can raise will help provide vital care for a child who has already lost out on so much this past 18 months:

£15 could pay for one month of music subscriptions for our children, young people and therapists to use.

£49 could pay for an hour of specialist nursing care.

£213 could clean our Hydro Pool for one week.

£450 could refurbish one of our hospice rooms.
