This annual event is not one to be missed featuring festive readings from our special guests including Cheryl Baker and Anna-Jane Caseyand timeless carols from the outstanding Canterbury Cathedral choir.
Begin your festive celebrations at this iconic venue on Monday 16 December, doors open at 7pm for a prompt 7.30pm start.

Your Tickets
There will be physical tickets for this event that will be sent out closer to the event.
Please make sure that you book your tickets together and not individually to avoid being separated. If you need to add a ticket to your booking, please contact the Events Team first at eventbookings@demelza.org.uk to ensure we have availability. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee that your party will be sat together if tickets are booked separately.
Accessibility
If you requested an accessible seat, we will contact you if we need any additional information. If you have not told us about any accessibility requirements, please contact us as soon as possible. We will not be able to make any adjustments on the day if you have not informed us in advance.
Parking
There is no parking available at the Cathedral, you will need to use public transport or a local car parking facility.
Timings
The doors will open at 7pm and the Celebration of Christmas begins promptly at 7.30pm. If you arrive after 7.30pm there is no guarantee you will be able to enter the Celebration of Christmas.
Other Information
Canterbury Cathedral can be cold at this time of year, so please do wrap up warm.
All tickets have been pre-allocated, when you arrive a member of the team will direct you to your seats.
Due to the nature of this event including the venue and timings, it is not suitable for children to attend the Celebration of Christmas.

Frequently Asked Questions
Due to the location and the mobile signal at the Cathedral, physical tickets will be sent to you prior to the event. These will arrive approximately two weeks before the event.
If you book your tickets closer to the time of the event, you may need to collect them on the door.
The doors to the Cathedral will open between 6.45pm and 7pm, the Celebration of Christmas will begin promptly at 7.30pm. The event will end at approximately 9pm.
Please be aware that if you arrive after 7.30pm, you may not be able to sit in your allocated seat. If the event has sold out, we may not be able to allow entry to the Celebration of Christmas.
When registering, you will be able to let us know if you have any accessibility requirements. A member f the team will then call you to make sure that we have all of the information we need to assist you on the evening.
Due to the nature of this event including the venue and timings, it may not be suitable for children to attend the Celebration of Christmas.
Unfortunately we are unable to allow guests to choose their seats, we allocate seating on a first come, first serve basis.
If you are booking as a group, we recommend you book these tickets at the same time to avoid your booking being separated. If you add additional tickets to your booking, there is no guarantee that these will be seated together.
If you would like to add additional tickets, we would recommend you contact us first to enquire if seating your booking together is possible.

Canterbury Cathedral does have toilet facilities which are located outside the Cathedral near the Canterbury Cathedral Lodge Hotel.
