With 20,000 places sold out in days this is the cycling event to be a part of. Following the Olympic road race route that gave Sir Bradley Wiggins his first gold medal, this really is a chance to get a feel for what it must have been like in the summer of 2012.
The race starts at the new Queen Elizabeth Park, then follows a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside. With leg-testing climbs and a route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics, it’s a truly spectacular event for all involved.
Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100 finishes on The Mall in Central London, shortly before 150 professional cyclists race in the Prudential Ride London-Surrey Classic on a similar route.
"Tackling Ride London was one of the toughest but most fulfilling things I have ever done. I may have ridden 100 miles through London and the Surrey hills, but it's nothing compared to what the children and families that need Demelza's help go through every day. The only thing getting me through this ride was knowing that the money raised was going to help the brilliant Demelza team do everything they can to add life to the kids days." Ben - 2015 participant
