Cyber Essentials is a simple but effective Government-backed, industry-supported scheme to help organisations protect themselves against common online threats.

Cyber attacks come in many shapes and sizes and have seen a rise as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. However, the vast majority are very basic in nature, carried out by relatively unskilled individuals. The Cyber Essentials accreditation process has given the team at Demelza the opportunity to tighten up any potential risk and gives assurances for greater protection against a wide variety of the most common cyber attacks.

Claire Ellis-Waghorn, Deputy Director of Business Development and Support said: “At Demelza, we are committed to ensuring that privacy is respected and robust measures are in place to make sure we are protected against the vast majority of common online attacks. A huge thank you to the team at Demelza who worked hard, alongside the team at Risk Evolves, to achieve Cyber Essentials accreditation. We will continue to be vigilant in the fight against online attacks”.
