We’re excited to announce that our Corporate Partnerships team will be co-hosting our very first virtual coffee tasting and wellbeing event with Garage Coffee on Wednesday 12 May.
The ticketed event will welcome guest speaker Jack Green; double-Olympian, mental health advocate and the proud Founder of Olywel wellbeing and performance consultancy. Drawing from his own experiences with mental health, Jack will be sharing a motivational insight into the winning philosophy of Olywel, explaining how creating a culture of wellbeing can have a powerful influence on workplace performance.
As Jack explains, “It’s impossible to guarantee great mental health for everyone, forever, but it is possible to help people feel comfortable with vulnerability; with openness; with seeking support when life gets tough. And the first step to achieving that in the workplace is a focus on better wellbeing; because when you give people the tools (and the support) to look after themselves, they’re free to perform at their best.”
As a newly established partnership, we are pleased to invite the Garage Coffee team, to deliver an introduction to their premium quality and fair-trade coffee brand and share a virtual tour of their impressive roastery, which sits in the beautiful Kentish village of Hoath, near Canterbury.
Prior to the event, you will receive a coffee making and tasting kit, courtesy of the Garage team.
The coffee tasting and wellbeing morning will take place from 9:30am - 11am and will run as follows:
- a welcome and business update from Demelza
- introduction and virtual tour from Garage Coffee
- coffee tasting, courtesy of Garage Coffee
- guest speaker Jack Green, Founder of Olywel consultancy.
Tickets cost £35 and can be secured by emailing our Corporate Partnerships team on corporate@demelza.org.uk.
