About Dave

Dave Berry is a radio broadcaster, writer and is a regular contributor to Q magazine, The Huffington Post and The Guardian.  Currently hosting the Absolute Radio Breakfast Show, Dave grew up in South East London, is a passionate Charlton Athletic fan and has been a proud supporter of Demelza since 2004.  His support has included hosting tables at fundraising balls, attending Demelza Christmas parties, opening the Kent hospice hydrotherapy pool and being the face of our Have a Heart appeal. In 2020, Dave hosted not only our first virtual family quiz but also our first ever virtual festival, organised by some of the teenagers who use our hospice services in East Sussex.
