Thrifty shoppers bag holiday bargains

02 July 2018
Thrifty shoppers who are looking for some cheap but cheerful holiday clobber will be pleased to know that help is at hand.

Demelza Hospice Care for Children charity shops across Kent, South East London and East Sussex have recently taken delivery of a brand new summer holiday range, which includes beach bags, sunhats, drinking cups, flower garlands and other accessories. The various items, which are perfect to transform any outfit or trip to the beach into something chic and fun, are selling within days of hitting the shelves, requiring frequent re-stocks.

Pictured are four Demelza shop managers from across the region modelling the range outside the Hythe High Street store. Left to right they are Fizz Dean, from Demelza’s Hailsham shop, Karen Wood from Eastbourne, Shirley Loetz from Battle and Michelle Stanford from Hythe.

Rachel Stead, Demelza’s Shops Operations Manager, said: “We have hats and bags with all different colours, patterns and designs. The ladies straw hats in particular are really popular, we can’t get them on the shelves quick enough!”

The new merchandise is on sale now across the region.
