Demelza families recently enjoyed a special day of memory making in Brighton.
The fun-filled event, hosted by charity Forward Facing, welcomed families supported by our Community Team in East Sussex.
All gathered at the Brighton Dome during the half term well for a day of face paints, fun and choreographed dance, which was then captured on film for families to keep.
All had the chance to have their photograph taken with footballing legend Rio Ferdinand and every child left with balloons, teddies and an Easter egg.
Demelza Family Support Worker Toni Goodall said: “The day was one of the most joy-filled and optimistic occasions I have ever experienced. It reminds families that they can create and share positive memories together and that there are other people in the same boat as them. It’s such a special event and it’s an honour to be witness to the positive memories made together.”
