Ask most people what they think of Demelza and they’ll tell you it’s a fantastic charity that does wonderful things for families who have children with terminal conditions.

But it’s so much more than that!

Demelza is a community, a team, a band of people who pull together to create amazing experiences for not only our families but the volunteers, the staff – indeed, everyone who has a part to play in putting together what is #TeamDemelza.

Whether you work half a day in one of charity shops or full time on the front line with the care team, run a mile or a marathon to raise funds for us, you play a vital part in what is #TeamDemelza.

We couldn’t survive without the hundreds of people who volunteer for us – or without the millions of pounds our supporters bring in each year so we can provide the very best care for our children and their families.

Our gardens are magnificent because our staff and volunteers put in hundreds of hours a week to keep them that way. Behind the scenes, administrative staff keep the wheels turning of our very well-oiled machine!

Our corporate sponsors generously give their time and money;  therapists, community nurses, IT technicians – everyone has a key part to play in #TeamDemelza. Here, we bring you some of their very special stories.  If you’re not already a part of #TeamDemelza, why not get involved NOW?

Look at our vacancies and volunteering pages here to see if there’s anything that takes your fancy! Or have a look at the various fundraising events and challenges that you can take part in.
