We are thrilled to have been chosen as LGT Vestra’s latest charity partner.

The new exciting partnership will span over two years and generate much-needed funds following a huge hit to income suffered as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Demelza was selected as the wealth management company’s new partner following a rigorous selection process that took into account the extent of our impact on those we support and a mutual alignment of values.

Demelza provides clinical care, therapies, specialised activities and practical support for children with serious or terminal conditions and their loved ones across Kent, South East London and East Sussex.

Demelza's newest corporate partner

“Demelza has been providing care since 1998 and, through the generosity of others and corporate partnerships like that with LGT Vestra, we can continue to be there for families for years to come,” explains Petra Bones, Demelza's Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager.

“We are delighted to be working with LGT Vestra and are looking forward to teaming up with their employees to raise not only funds but also awareness of the work we do with children with serious or terminal conditions across the South East.

“As a charity, we’re almost entirely dependent on the generosity of our supporters to provide the funds that keep our services going and we are very grateful to everyone at LGT Vestra for their ongoing support – we can’t wait to get started!”

The partnership with the UK-based firm launched in January 2022, and funds will be raised through a variety of activities and volunteering initiatives – including a dodgeball tournament and an employee “Hike or Bike” challenge.

The proceeds from LGT Vestra’s contribution will go towards providing vital services for the 600 children and families supported by Demelza.

Ben Snee, CEO LGT Vestra, “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Demelza and look forward to working closely with them over the next two years. Demelza works tirelessly to help children and young people with serious or terminal conditions, as well as provide specialist support and care for their families. As a firm, our mission is to create long-term value for local communities and society, in the same way we do for our clients and stakeholders. Therefore, it’s a privilege to support their incredibly meaningful work and we hope that we can play a part to support their essential role in the community.”
