Hospice open day in Kent

Demelza children's hospice in Sittingbourne is holding an open day on March 11.

Visitors will have a chance to look around the eight-bedded facility which cares for children with life limiting or life threatening illnesses.

Facilities include a multi-sensory room, soft play area, a jacuzzi, and a teenage inclusion zone.

Staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer any questions about the charity, which also has a hospice in Eltham, South East London and a community nursing team in East Sussex.

There will also be stalls selling cards and Demelza merchandise as well as the chance to find out about volunteering and the Demelza Lottery.
