Corporates rewarded at business event

Businesses which support Demelza are set to be recognised at the charity's annual awards.

Companies from across Kent and London have been nominated in the Demelza Business Awards.

The categories are:
• Outstanding individual fundraiser
• Outstanding fundraising team
• Most innovative fundraising idea
• Outstanding voluntary project
• Outstanding SME supporter
• Outstanding corporate supporter
• Outstanding long-term supporter

The sparkling black tie awards ceremony takes place at the Marriott Tudor Park Hotel in Maidstone on Friday March 5.

A drinks reception takes place at 7pm with the awards and dinner at 7.45pm and the event closes at midnight.

Natalie Tegg, Demelza's Corporate Partnerships Manager said: 'The Annual Demelza Awards is about thanking our business supporters for all their hard work in fundraising for their charity, and is about recognising companies of all sizes who have been outstanding in their community investment.'

• Cabot Financial - Kings Hill
• Searchflow - Kings Hill
• Barclays - Stratford
• Sainsbury's - countywide
• Eden Financial - The City
• Axis Europe - Vauxhall
• Adept Telecom - Tunbridge Wells

The closing date for nominations is February 15.
