Schoolgirls carol sing for kids at Demelza

Year 10 students from Beaverwood School for Girls in Chislehurst, Kent brought some festive cheer to Demelza's hospice in Eltham on December 17.

Thirteen girls sang to the children at the hospice in Wensley Close songs including We Wish you a Merry Christmas and the 12 Days of Christmas.

They also handed over a cheque for £250 following a talent show at the school.

Demelza South East London's Head of Care, Sarah Carter said: 'It was a lovely afternoon and the kids and staff thoroughly enjoyed it. The girls got everyone involved and we are grateful they took the time to come and visit us.'
