The second Open Gardens event, which was attended by around 100 people, was held at Foresters Homes in Tower Road, Bexleyheath. the gardens of a care home were opened to the public in aid of Demelza on Sunday (August 16).
As well as the gardens on display there were also jewellery, books and plants for sale and a tombola.
The Mayor of Bexley, Councillor Bernard Clewes attended and music was provided by Bird College in Sidcup.
The event raised £930.
Terrie Kennor, Demelza's area fundraising manager for South East London said: 'Thank you to everyone who came along on a sunny Sunday to support our Open Gardens event.
'As well as the visitors who came along residents from the home supported us by baking some fantastic cakes.
'Help us raise even more at the next Open Gardens to care for the children at our South East London hospice.'
The last event in the Open Gardens series takes place from 2pm to 5pm on September 6 at 3, Selbourne Road, Sidcup.
