Demelza relies heavily on corporate support, and businesses can help the charity through all sorts of initiatives from cause related marketing to staff fundraising and from donations to volunteering.
The charity has launched its Make Room in your Heart campaign aimed at businesses of all sizes who can help raise funds for a bedroom at the Hospice.
Richard Coggings, General Manager of Marriott Tudor Park Hotel said 'We were once again delighted to support Demelza and the Business Awards Night on Friday 6th March, at the hotel. The event rounded off the hotel's Grand for a Grand campaign, and we were happy to hand over our £1000 cheque to go alongside the Grand Piano donated. Through 2009 further fund-raising will continue in aid of Demelza'.
Natalie Tegg, Corporate Partnership Executive, said: 'This year Demelza has given more care than ever before without the generous support of the business community this would not be possible. The Demelza Business Awards is about saying thank you to those companies and recognising their support for the charity as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility'.
