The Duke of Edinburgh Public House in Heath Road, Barming is hosting a music extravaganza on 25th May from 2pm until 8pm in aid of Demelza Hospice Care for Children. Some of the local bands appearing are Flying Anvil, The Ronnies, Jump Jetz and Sawdust Caesars. Landlord, Adam Philips, holds Demelza close to his heart as the hospice was build in memory of his sister Demelza Daniels who died at 24 from a brain tumour.
Adam Philips said 'The pub has been established as a music venue for about a year and I thought a great way to celebrate the 1st year of music would be to hold an event with some of the best local bands. I am really passionate about the hospice and I can't think if a better way of combining our passion for music with celebrating the 10th Birthday of Demelza Hospice Care for Children.'
