Debbie Hackett
After a career in Horticulture and Garden Design, Debbie started working in the charity sector in 2006 organising gardening Corporate Days for a Housing Association and teaching horticulture to adults with learning disabilities. She then worked for 8 years as Business Development Manager for a local community charity in Derbyshire. After moving home to Kent two years ago, she joined Demelza’s Trust and Foundations Team in December 2021.
Debbie lives in the Weald of Kent with her husband and cat. In her spare time, she loves gardening (naturally), handicrafts, visiting the coastline (there was none in Derbyshire!) and walking in the beautiful Wealden countryside.
